I met Catherine at the Meerendal's Farmer's market. She introduced me to her awesome natural cleaning/household products. I've tried her clothes washing power, her dishwashing liquid, bathroom and tile cleaner and hand soap. Try them for yourself!

Envirolog
Renewable firewood logs made from compressed grapeseeds. From the grapevine, grapes are made into wine and their seeds are made into grapeseed oil, but what happens with the remaining "waste" pulp? This young proudly SA company has turned this waste into renewable fire'wood'.

Dishwashing liquid / powder
Both of these pictured products are Made in SA and are also natural/non-toxic. I've used both and am not sure which one I prefer better, so for now I alternate. The Bloublommetjies granules smell terrible in the container, but no smell remains after washing and it works great. The Better Earth Gel smells pleasant in the container, but also leaves no smell afterwards. For both you need to use very little per wash and they are therefore great value for money and work just as well as their chemical/foreign competitors.
Washing Clothes
EarthSap Laundry Liquid is Made in SA and is also natural and non-toxic. I use it and love it! It is a tiny bit more expensive than some washing powders, but you need to use so little that it lasts longer which more than makes up for the slight price difference.
